OVEN RICE





INGREDIENTS:
-2 Cup of rice
-1 kg of potato
-800g of sausage
-salt to taste
-2 tablespoons of butter
-1 cup of milk
-500g of tomato paste
-400g of sliced cheese
-Seasoning to taste
* for 4 people.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

            This recipe is done in four steps, first to prepare the sauce, then make the mashed potatoes, cook the rice and finally put into a bowl.
            -SAUCE
Cut the sausage into cubes, then fry in an over low heat for about 5 minutes, add the tomato paste, salt and seasoning to taste.
            -MASHED POTATOES
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes, and place them in a pot with water to cook. Once they are cooked, mash them and add butter, milk and stir until blended. Set aside mashed potatoes, and start cooking rice.
-RICE
Cook rice and set aside in a bowl.
-SHAPING
Take the first half of mashed potatoes and put in bowl, forming the first layer, the first half rice pour over the mashed potatoes, now put half the sauce over, cover with slices of cheese, now make another layer with the rest of each.

PASTA WITH CHICKEN AND BROCOLI



Good carbohidrates, proteins and vegetables.

Ingredients: 300 g Chicken
                  300g Organic Pasta
                  200g Brocoli
                  Olive Oil
                  Sea Salt (ground salt)

Method:

Chicken and Brocoli: Dice the chicken into small peaces and the brocoli in the middle (each part). Put olive oil in a big frying pan. When the oil is hot, put the chicken and cook for 5 minutes and then add the brocoli and sprinkle with sea salt (to taste). Cook for more 15 minutes. Thats ok.
Pasta: Put 1 litre of hot water in a pan then add past and to cool for 7 minutes. When it is right, put in a coulander and pass under cold water.
You can mix or serve separate (if you prefer separate, you can add tomate sauce to the pasta).
Have a good and healthy meal.

FAROFA OF BANANA







Ingredients

2 cups of cassava (mandioca) flour
2 bananas
1 onion
1 smoke pork sausage
200 g bacon
Oil
Salt


Sliced the bananas, onion, smoke pork sausage and the bacon, and put aside.

Put a little oil into the pan with the bacon and smoke pork sausage, when it is fried add the onion and fry it too. Next add the bananas, cassava flour and the salt. Mix everything and fry it for a few minutes, approximately 10 minutes. Serve as an accompaniment of feijoada or barbecue.

CAKE OF THE FUBA

INGREDIENTS

1 Glass of oil
1 Glass of flour
1 1/2 Glass of sugar
1 Glass of milk
2 Glasses of Fuba'
3 Eggs
1 tablespoon of Baking power
Cinnamon
Butter

PREPARATION
Mix everything in the blender. Pass butter in the form and sprinkle with fuba'. Preheat the fire for 45 minutes and when ready sprinkle sugar and cinnamon.

CARROT CAKE

INGREDIENTS


  • 3 carrots
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 spoon( tea) yeast
  • 1 cup oil

METHOD

Put the eggs,oil and the carrots in the blender. Shake for 3 minutes.
Put the flour end yeast in the bowl.
Pour the mix in the bowl. Mix all ingredients.
Heat the oven and cooking for 40 minutes ( 180 degress C)

MANGO SALSA

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup diced fresh mango
  • 1/3 cup roasted red peppers, drained & diced
  • 1/3 cup diced red onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients and chill. Serve with grilled fish or chicken.
Makes 1 1/2 cups of mango salsa

MAYONNAISE SALAD



 Serves 3

Ingredients
4 medium potatoes
3 medium carrots
12 olives
1 tin of corn
250g of mayonnaise
2 tomatoes
Vinegar
Salt

Preparation
Chop the carrots and potatoes in small pieces. Cook all together with a little salt. After cooking, put in a big bowl. Chop the olives and tomatoes and put in the same bowl together with the corn. Salt to Taste. In finally put of the mayonnaise and a spoon of vinegar. Mix all, decorate as desired and eat cold. Have a good meal.

PASTE WITH TOMATO SAUCE



Ingredients

-          500g of paste
-          500ml of tomato sauce
-          Salt
-          1 onion
-          A bit of garlic
-          Oil
-          Butter

Method: Put one pan with water to heat. When boil add the paste, wait 15 minutes and turn off. Drain the water and put the paste in one bowl. In another pan, put oil, garlic and onion choppeds. Heat it for 5 minutes and add butter and salt. Pour the tomato sauce, wait 3 minutes, and pour in the paste of the bowl. Heat for 3 minutes and it`s ready!! Have a nice meal !!

BIG RIB 12 Hours


BIG RIB 12 hours – 5 portions





INGREDIENTS

- 3.5 pounds of rib;
- 3 tablespoons (soup) salt;
- 1 head of garlic, mashed.


PREPARATION

It’s a very easy recipe, despite the long cooking time.

- Season the meat one day before cooking. Make some cuts in the ribs and put salt and crushed garlic in.
- Before cooking, wrap the ribs in six laps of foil. Close tightly. Bake at a temperature of approximately 
180° for eight hours. Then remove the foil and leave for another 30 minutes to brown the meat.


GOOD WITH
- Green salad
- Rice
- Mayonnaise


TIP
- Season the meat the day before, so the flavour will be better.

CHEESE BREAD


Ingredients
4 cups of sour powder
1 cup of warm water
1 dessert spoon of salt
1 cup of milk
1 cup of oil
2 eggs
2 cups of grated cheese
4 spoons of corn flour

Preparation
Time: 30 minutes / 20 people
Mix the sour powder, the salt and the warm water
Boil the oil and milk
After boil, put in eggs and grated cheese
Make balls using two spoons
Bake in hot oven to grow up, finalize in oven morn
